Taught by a highly qualified educator, our middle school students are actively engaged in differentiated curriculum and project-based learning that meets the needs of all learners. In our middle school program, classroom content is connected to real-world situations, exciting learning experiences, and community service projects, so our students have a broad understanding of how their content relates to the world around them.
Evaluation of student progress is based upon daily formative assessments, student reflections, observations, and weekly summative assessments. Parents are encouraged to visit the classroom and attend learning activities. Parents are also encouraged to actively participate in parent-teacher conferences, to determine each child’s strength and growth areas and to assist with setting appropriate goals and action plans to ensure student success.
